I am Abdul Majeed aged 47. Our AL RAHA TRADING BUSINESS GROUP is centred in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I am one of its chief partners. Once, it was a small estabilishment. Then, Arabic language was enough for our communication. Now, the business has grown up and the staff use English as medium of communication. My main role is international purchase. Because of the lack of English communication skill, I often face big difficulties in bargaining, pricing, selection of products, etc. It affects even the profits of the establishment. One of the staff in our firm, after understanding my problems in this regard, introduced Ma’din English Village to me and he speaks English so fluently. I found the course and the camp there at Ma’din English Village tremendously effective. I was highly impressed and benefitted by the classes from basic to advanced levels and practical communicative coaching. As far as English fluency is concerned, I got more than I expected from there. At present, I am able to deal with any international clients very confidently. And I often suggest this English training camp for my staff when they get back home on leave.

Greatly thankful to Ma’din
I am a computer networking engineer. It was when I was looking for a job in Bangalore that I realized my deficiency in English communication. I couldn’t get through so many interviews I attended due to my broken English. I could not convince the interviewers my skills and mastership in networking field. In one of the interviews I last attended, a senior HR Executive who was convinced with my technical skills and subject knowledge asked me to attend this spoken English camp and promised me that he would take me to the job once I completed the course and improved my English within one month. He was quite sure that my English would be fluent if I join this English camp. I see the 18 days’ camp at Ma’din English Village as a turning point in my life. What I observed as positive at the camp was a group of serious learners like me. Everybody was getting ready to go abroad seeking jobs or higher studies. I didn’t find any easy-going guys or children in classroom. We spoke always only English there at the camp except the first two days. That was a rewarding experience in my life. It was an all encompassing training camp with classes and hostels tied up together in a completely English atmosphere and friendly teachers facilitating the learners’ communicative excellence round the clock. When I returned after the 18 days’ camp to Bangalore, the HR was amazed to see the changes in language. Now, I am very grateful to the HR sir who guided me to the camp and also I am greatly thankful to Ma’din English Village for my professional success.
It was during my second visit to Qatar I came to know about Ma’din English Village. My first Qatar visit was a big failure. I couldn’t win any of the five interviews I attended. My elder brother who was in Qatar said to me: “You don’t attend interviews anymore. First, you go home, learn English and then come back to Qatar.” I got back home and joined a spoken English centre nearby my hometown. There I got grammar classes but opportunities to improve my English communication are very less there. Class hour was just two hours and the rest of the time I will be at home and street speaking only Malayalam. A friend of mine who was with me for B.Com at MES College told me about the 18 days’ spoken English camp at Malappuram. My friend was an alumnus of Ma’din English Village. Apart from other spoken English centres, I found that the camp gives much importance to Group Discussions and Public Speaking in order to improve English communication and confidence. Here they are training us in English through a psychologically designed life style at the camp. Therefore, the canteens, rooms, balconies, corridors and courtyard are, in some way or the other, venues of practicing English communication. And the detailed interviews classes at the camp were very useful for me. Thanks to the camp, on my second visit, I was well-placed in Canadian company at my first interview itself.

A remedial step
I am a professor of Mathematics at a reputed college in North Kerala. I am a PhD holder and head of the department of Mathematics at the college. Since my focus was always in maths, I was poor in English speaking. I was good at writing and my research papers and thesis are in English. But, my problem was while speaking and presenting papers at national or international seminars & conferences. I reached Ma’din English Village as a remedial step for covering up my lack of confidence in English speaking. In my opinion, the learning system at the camp was entirely different from what I had seen in my experience. The course structure, the camp order, well-experienced trainers, innovative pedagogical methods and above all ‘all time English Speaking’ atmosphere impressed me very much. Hence, in the light of my professional experience, I tell you again this is the number one Spoken English Centre in south India.
